Marina View Cafe

First impression is a touch expensive but you get what you pay for here. 1st class breakfast with excellent produce. Despite being full to capacity our food was delivered quickly and very well presented on both occasions we have visited. We will certainly be back.

This was our first visit & we look forward to being able to visit in the future. The staff were absolutely outstanding!!!! The food was absolutely delicious!!!! Everything was immaculately clean & well maintained with a welcoming comfortable atmosphere. There was a nice choice of food available so the only slight downside was we couldn't book a table & it was very busy so we were lucky to find a table but it wasn't a major issue. We left very happy after a meal chosen from the specials board & with takeaway scones for later which were freshly baked & delicious. Overall a fantastic experience.

A lovely quaint cafe by the Marina. Me and my wife went for lunch in Christmas Eve. She had the special (bacon, brie, and cranberry panini), and I had the fish butty. For 12 each it came with skin on fries, and onion rings. I've been here for breakfast before and that was fantastic, but that's not why I'm writing a 5 star review today. All I can say is that the fish butty was the best I've ever had. It was honestly amazing. For something so basic the flavour was brilliant. I never thought I would feel this way about a fish sandwich but it honestly blew my mind. Amazing stuff. Brilliant place, definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

We phoned in advance to make sure they were open because of the time of year and to check the likelihood of getting a table. Gentleman said it had been steady all day but we should be fine for a table. Large group arrived as we did so there were no tables left, just the bar along the side wall, luckily with 5 seats. So we grabbed that. We got our order in quickly before the large group. Most of us had the soup and sandwich combo. The food arrived quickly and was plentiful and very tasty. The soup was lovely definitely homemade. The chips are definitely proper home made chips, not frozen nor out of a bag. The best kind real chips! The hot chocolate was thick and creamy and that was without any extras. The staff although rushed off their feet when we arrived were friendly and polite.

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. We come here any time we visit Maryport. The food is always fresh, homemade and reasonably priced. The staff always go above and beyond to accommodate, making sure we are happy and comfortable. We will be back again!

Staff were friendly, polite and approachable, and we managed to get a seat even though it was very busy. Fish finger sandwich was delightful with chips, onion rings and salad. Would visit in the future.

Great coffee, and the bacon baps have to be the best ever...
